How to find a flat
Most people search on MyHome.ge and SS.ge, in Telegram rental groups, or through an agent.

Book a short stay first, then look for a long-term flat in person.
Short stays let you test the street, the heating and the internet before you sign. Airbnb prices can jump when you extend.

Never pay a deposit before you see the flat and get a contract.
Asking for a deposit before a viewing is the most common scam. Fake listings and shady agents are common on listing sites.

A deposit is usually 1 to 2 months of rent, and many landlords want US dollars in cash.
Agree in the contract how and when you get the deposit back.

A one bedroom flat is often listed as a 2 room flat.
Georgian listings count the living room as a room.
